What is a Day & Night Blind?
A Day & Night Blind features alternating sheer and opaque fabric stripes. By adjusting how the stripes overlap, you can control light and privacy without fully raising the blind.
What is the difference between a Recess Fit and an Exact Fit?
A Recess Fit sits inside the window recess, while an Exact Fit is installed outside the recess for greater coverage and fewer light gaps. For a Recess Fit, enter the full recess measurements—we will make the necessary manufacturing deduction.
Why is my Recess Fit blind smaller than the measurements entered?
We make a small deduction from the overall width so the blind fits and operates correctly without rubbing against the sides of the recess. There is no need to make any deductions yourself.
What is the difference between a fascia covering and no fascia covering?
Without a fascia covering, the headrail remains in your selected colour for a clean, modern finish. With a fascia covering, a matching piece of fabric is added to the front of the headrail for a coordinated, more premium appearance. Both options operate in the same way.
Do Day & Night Blinds provide complete blackout?
No. Day & Night Blinds provide flexible light control and privacy, but the sheer sections and small gaps around the blind mean they cannot provide complete blackout. If you require a darker room, we recommend a Blackout Roller Blind.
What is included, and are they easy to install?
Your blind will arrive made to your measurements with the required brackets, fittings and installation instructions. When ordering, you can select either top-fix or face-fix brackets. Side-fixing is not available.
