What is the difference between a Recess Fit and an Exact Fit?
A Recess Fit sits inside the window recess, while an Exact Fit is installed outside the recess for greater window coverage. Enter the full measurements without making deductions—we will make the necessary manufacturing allowances.
Can Vertical Blinds be top-fixed or face-fixed?
Yes. Choose top-fixing for installation into the ceiling or top of a recess, or face-fixing for installation onto a wall or window frame. The appropriate brackets will be supplied with your order.
What is the difference between chained and chainless weights?
Chained weights are connected by a small stabilising chain that helps keep the louvres aligned. Chainless weights provide a cleaner appearance without connecting chains and are often preferred in homes with children or pets.
Which control and stack options are available?
You can choose left-hand or right-hand controls. You can also select a left stack, right stack or split stack, allowing the louvres to open in the direction that best suits your window or door.
Are Vertical Blinds suitable for patio doors and large windows?
Yes. Vertical Blinds are an excellent choice for patio doors and large windows. The louvres can be rotated to control light and privacy or drawn aside when you want a clearer view.
What is included, and are Vertical Blinds easy to maintain?
Your blind includes the made-to-measure headrail, louvres, weights, brackets, fittings and installation instructions. To keep the louvres clean, dust them regularly with a soft cloth, duster or vacuum brush attachment. Suitable fabrics can also be gently spot-cleaned.
Can I replace individual louvres if one gets damaged?
Yes.
One of the biggest advantages of Vertical Blinds is that individual louvres can usually be replaced without replacing the entire blind, making them a practical and cost-effective choice.
