Before you start measuring
A few quick tips to help you get accurate measurements
and the perfect fit.
Use a metal tape measure
Fabric or plastic tapes can stretch and give inaccurate measurements.
Measure in millimetres (mm)
All our blinds are made to the nearest millimetre for the perfect fit.
Do not rely on old blind measurements
Even small changes to your window can affect the perfect fit.
Double-check all measurements
Always measure twice to ensure accuracy before placing your order.
STEP-BY-STEP MEASUREMENT
Follow these simple steps

Check Compatibility
Before measuring, ensure your window is suitable for an Easy Stick Blind. Check that any obstructions, such as window handles or trickle vents, are positioned at least 35mm away from the visible glass to allow the blind to fit and operate correctly.

Measure the Visible Glass Width
Measure the visible glass width in three places: top, middle and bottom. Use the smallest measurement when placing your order.
Please note: Measure only the visible glass. Do not include the window bead or any black rubber seals in your measurement.

Measure the Visible Glass Height
Measure the visible glass height in three places: left, centre and right. Use the smallest measurement when placing your order.
Again, measure only the visible glass. Do not include the window bead or any black rubber seals.

Measure Each Window Individually
If you’re ordering for multiple windows, French doors or bifold doors, measure each pane individually. Even if they appear identical, manufacturing tolerances can vary, so it’s important not to assume they’re all the same size.

Place Your Order
Double-check your visible glass width and visible glass height before placing your order, then enter them exactly as measured.
Please note: As all blinds are made to measure, a manufacturing tolerance of +/- 5mm applies. This is standard across the window blind industry and ensures your blind is manufactured within acceptable production tolerances.

What measurements do I need to take? This depends on the product you’re ordering. Don’t worry though – our measuring guide will show you exactly what to measure and where to measure it. We recommend measuring twice to make sure everything is spot on before placing your order.
