A few quick tips to help you get accurate measurements
and the perfect fit.
Use a metal tape measure
Fabric or plastic tapes can stretch and give inaccurate measurements.
Measure in millimetres (mm)
All our blinds are made to the nearest millimetre for the perfect fit.
Do not rely on old blind measurements
Even small changes to your window can affect the perfect fit.
Double-check all measurements
Always measure twice to ensure accuracy before placing your order.
STEP-BY-STEP MEASUREMENT
Follow these simple steps

Check Compatibility
Before measuring, ensure your window is suitable for a Perfect Fit Blind. You will need at least 25mm of clear space around the visible glass to allow the blind frame to fit correctly. Also check for any window handles or obstructions that could interfere with the operation of the blind.

Measure the Visible Glass Width & Height
Measure only the visible glass, from the edge of the glass to the edge of the glass. Do not include the window bead or uPVC frame in your measurements. Record both the visible glass width and height in millimetres.

Measure the Bead Depth
Measure the depth of your window bead from the edge of the uPVC frame to the glass. This is known as the bead depth and is required to ensure the correct brackets are supplied.

Double Check Your Measurements
Before ordering, double-check your visible glass width, visible glass height and bead depth. Measuring accurately will ensure your Perfect Fit Blind is manufactured to the correct size for your window.

Place Your Order
Enter your visible glass width, visible glass height and bead depth exactly as measured when placing your order.
Please note: As all blinds are made to measure, a manufacturing tolerance of +/- 5mm applies. This is standard across the window blind industry and ensures your blind is manufactured within acceptable production tolerances.
