A little regular care will help keep your EASY123 blinds looking fresh and operating smoothly. Always clean your blinds gently and test any cleaning method on a small, hidden area first.

Important: None of our blinds, curtains or other window coverings are machine washable. Do not place any part of your product in a washing machine or tumble dryer.

Faux Wood Blinds

Dust the slats regularly with a soft cloth or feather duster. For light marks, use a clean, slightly damp cloth before drying the slats with a soft towel.

Avoid soaking the slats or allowing water to enter the headrail and operating mechanism.

Real Wood Blinds

Use a dry microfibre cloth or feather duster to gently clean the slats. Real wood should not be cleaned with water, sprays or household cleaning products, as moisture may affect the finish or cause the slats to warp.

Aluminium Venetian Blinds

Gently dust the slats using a soft cloth or feather duster. Light marks can be removed with a slightly damp cloth.

Support each slat while cleaning and avoid pressing, bending or pulling them out of position.

Roller, Roman and Day & Night Blinds

Remove surface dust with a feather duster, soft cloth or vacuum cleaner with a clean brush attachment on its lowest setting.

Small marks may be carefully blotted with a clean, lightly dampened cloth. Do not scrub, soak or fully wet the fabric, as this may cause marking, shrinkage or damage to its coating.

Vertical Blinds

Gently dust each louvre from top to bottom using a soft cloth or feather duster. Take care not to pull, crease or twist the fabric.

For small marks, lightly blot the affected area with a clean, damp cloth. Do not place the louvres in a washing machine.

Pleated and Honeycomb Blinds

Use a feather duster or a vacuum cleaner with a clean brush attachment on its lowest setting. Work gently in the direction of the pleats and avoid pressing or flattening the fabric.

Do not soak, scrub or apply cleaning products directly to the material.

Perfect Fit® Blinds and Frames

Clean the blind according to its material using the guidance above. The surrounding frame can be wiped with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then dried.

Avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the blind, frame or operating components.

Curtains

Use a feather duster or vacuum cleaner with a clean upholstery attachment on its lowest setting. Take extra care around seams, hems and pleats.

Our made-to-measure curtains are not machine washable. For stains or deeper cleaning, please contact our team before using any cleaning method or arranging professional cleaning.

Cleaning the Mechanisms

Keep headrails, chains, cords and moving components free from dust using a clean, dry cloth. Do not apply water, oil, lubricant or cleaning sprays to the operating mechanism.

Always operate your blind gently. If anything feels stiff, damaged or difficult to use, stop and contact us rather than forcing it.

Products to Avoid

Do not use bleach, solvents, abrasive cleaners, strong chemicals, furniture polish or coloured cleaning cloths. These may damage the fabric, protective coating or surface finish.
